There are a few reasons why I am a reluctant convert:
- There is nothing quiet like the feel and smell of a book when your curled up reading before bed.
- I would'nt fancy taking a kindle into the bath, especially as I have been known to fall asleep and drop a book in the bath, I wonder if they are water proof.
- I like to go to the book shop, browse the books, take them home, and then have a mini library at home.
- We live in a town house, and my guilty pleasure is reading on the loo. Hence I need 3 books on the go at one time (one in each loo), and I think 3 kindles might work out a little expensive!
- I think I may be a little reluctant to let the kids loose with a kindle, I don't know how long it would last.
I was waiting at an after school club and a mum was reading a children's book to her lad from the kindle, so this has got me thinking that it may be handy to have so many children's books at my finger tips, in such a compact form.
Not sure, can anyone convince me either way?
